Texas GOP bans unhinged MAGA candidate from its events after she harassed an 84-year-old

The Texas Republican Party recently banned Islamophobic, anti-LGBTQ+ GOP candidate Valentina Gomez from all of its events. The state GOP said she disrupted its recent gala by filming herself harassing U.S. Rep. John Carter, an 84-year-old incumbent whose seat she’s running for.

In an Instagram video, Gomez — an Islamophobic Colombian immigrant and MAGA conservative —mentioned being banned and claimed to also be under investigation by federal agents who somehow removed her from state voter rolls so that she cannot vote in her long-shot 10-way race for Carter’s seat. Her claims have not yet been verified.

Gomez claimed the Texas GOP banned her after she exposed Carter’s “horrible health condition.” The Texas GOP accused her of turning its January 24 Georgetown gala into “a campaign gimmick” through “unruly outbursts” and a “physical altercation” by Gomez’s guest.

Gomez and her guest recorded a video of her ambushing Carter at the gala. In the video, she asks Carter why he allowed Texas to build 200 mosques during his 22 years in Congress, and why he allowed U.S. soldiers under former President Joe Biden to be discharged for refusing the COVID vaccine.

“This type of self-serving behavior … is unacceptable,” the Texas GOP wrote in its incident statement without ever explicitly naming Gomez. “This candidate has been informed that she is no longer permitted to attend our private events or meetings.”

In her Instagram video, Gomez urged followers to vote for her in her “David versus Goliath” campaign so that she may “make Texas the worst place for terrorist Muslims, illegals, and corrupt politicians to live in.”

Gomez has based her entire political identity on book burning and calling people and dog food brands “weak and gay.” She calls LGBTQ+ people and anyone who didn’t vote for her a bunch of “fa**ots,”, calls gay people and Muslims “pedophiles,” and considers pro-gay churches to be a “cancer.”

She came in sixth in her 2024 race to become Missouri’s Secretary of State. Shortly thereafter, X demontized her social media account, Instagram temporarily banned her for hate speech, and her unhinged homophobia got her brother fired from his job.
