Nick Minaj’s descent into the MAGA vortex shows no signs of stopping after she was seen performing TikTok dances with Scott Bessent.

The Trinidadian rapper, 43, shocked fans last month after she appeared on stage with US president Donald Trump, calling herself his “number one fan”.

Minaj has faced criticism over the past few weeks for parroting right-wing, often anti-LGBTQ+, rhetoric, alienating her historically large queer fan base who have now dubbed her “MAGA Minaj”, and doubling down on her views on trans youth.

The Starships singer’s latest right-wing exploit saw her perform viral TikTok dances with treasury secretary Bessent, who is gay, in an awkward 20-second clip.
