Fox host Jesse Watters has been brutally mocked for claiming Bad Bunny’s halftime show was “foreign” and an invasion of the United States, considering Puerto Rico is a part of it.
“I like the Super Bowl not to be an international event,” he ranted, becoming one of many right-wingers having on-air tantrums about the fact that Bad Bunny performed in Spanish and celebrated Latino culture.

Watters then blasted the NFL for using the show as a way to “recruit Latin American audience on the heels of Latin America invading this country.”
“You see all these foreigners speaking a foreign language, with foreign flags marching into the camera like a caravan. Too soon.” Watters said of a moment in the show where dancers carried flags from countries across the Americas. “This was an open borders moment. Everybody knows it.”

Once again for the people in the back: Puerto Rico is within our “borders” and its people are US citizens. It’s either stupidity or willful ignorance. Neither is a good look. Open your minds and hearts. You won’t have to be so angry all the time. https://t.co/fVIDZWO4wM

I’m really getting sick of these racists calling Latinos “foreigners” in their own country. Just say “they’re not white” and say what you really mean. https://t.co/oPYkbqThC8
