Caitlyn Jenner blasted for partying at Donald Trump’s residence just before his transphobic speech

Days before President Donald Trump’s anti-trans State of the Union address, in which he falsely claimed that schools across the country are secretly “transitioning of students without their parents’ knowledge” and used a Virginia college student as a prop to argue for schools outing trans kids to their parents, trans celebrity Trump supporter Caitlyn Jenner attended a gala concert at Mar-a-Lago.

According to The Times of India, the former Olympic gold medalist and reality TV star was among the “billionaires, industry titans, financial leaders, entertainment moguls, and global influencers” gathered at the president’s Palm Beach, Florida, resort for pianist Omar Harfouch’s performance of his “Concerto for Peace” on February 20.

The following day, photos posted to BlueSky by right-wing watchdog PatriotTakes of Jenner hobnobbing with other guests and apparently speaking at the event drew ridicule.

“Caitlyn Jenner is an attention w***e who completely betrayed the trans community and has said she is not a spokesperson for the trans community just her own journey. Jenner is vile and a fraud,” one user wrote.

“Does she not realize they make fun of her behind her back and say ugly things?” another commenter asked, describing Jenner as a “pathetic fool.”

“She’s 100% bought & paid for. Like Tr*mp himself, she believes in nothing. Transactional piece of trash,” yet another user commented, while another noted that “Bank accounts are the most important asset to being invited to Mar-A-Lago!”

“I’m trying to wrap my head around a self-hating trans. This person wanted to be accepted and understood but doesn’t advocate for others,” another user wrote in a comment that also deadnamed Jenner. “Caitlyn can go f**k herself.”

PatriotTakes shared the same post on X, where reactions were markedly different. While many users on anti-trans billionaire and Trump supporter Elon Musk’s social media platform posted similar comments questioning which bathroom Jenner was required to use at the event and comparing her looks to the surgically enhanced “Mar-a-Lago face” that has become common among MAGA women, others defended Jenner, citing her opposition to trans women and girls participating in women’s and girls’ sports and claiming she has “never claimed to be a woman.

Caitlyn Jenner has been outspoken about biological males not playing in female sports. No one has been against someone choosing to be trans, they have been against indoctrination and sex change operations for minors.

Caitlyn doesn't deny he is biologically male. He just chooses to look like a woman. There is a difference. Caitlyn doesn't want everyone else to pretend they don't know he is a dude. If some dude wants surgery to look like a woman that is one thing when they want everyone to…

Caitlyn has never claimed to be the same as a biological woman and has never tried to compete in a female sport or advocated to transition children. These are our issues. Republicans actually have nuance other than the left. Like how we think some immigration is good. But not all

He doesn’t think he’s a real woman. He doesn’t shove his beliefs down other’s throats.

Over the years, Jenner’s support for Trump has wavered. After saying she did not support him during the 2016 Republican presidential primaries, in a 2017 interview with CNN, she said she had voted for him in the 2016 election. During the first Trump administration, Jenner publicly criticized some of his anti-trans policies and withdrew her support for the president in 2018. But in a series of social media posts in April 2024, she appeared to endorse Trump’s reelection.

Jenner attended Trump’s inauguration in January 2025, writing “Congratulations Mr. President. Thanks be to God!” in a post on X.

Early last February, Jenner declared Trump’s executive order aimed at banning trans women and girls from women’s and girls’ sports “another victory in the fight for protecting women’s sports!”
