Pundits and web commenters have long speculated about President Donald Trump’s declining mental state and discolored bruising on the back of his hand. But now a newly sighted red rash on his neck is making people wonder even more about the 79-year-old leader’s health.

Media influencer Aaron Rupar recently reposted a picture of Trump taken by Getty photojournalist Saul Loeb, which shows a splotchy red rash crawling up from under his shirt collar, just below his right ear, near the back side of his neck.

While various web commenters speculated whether Trump might have shingles, a painful, blistering viral infection caused by the reactivation of the same virus that causes chickenpox, others noted that Trump admitted to taking blood thinners, which can sometimes cause superficial skin irritation.

Psychologist Dr. John Gartner said that Trump’s “malignant narcissism” causes him to get angry about news reports on his physical and mental health because they make him appear weak.

whoa — this is new. Trump has a significant rash-like injury on his neck today in addition to his disfigured hand
