Former San José State University (SJSU) volleyball player Brooke Slusser is being mocked on social media for a video in which she discusses the apparent trauma she endured from being friends and roommates with a teammate who she didn’t know was transgender.
Slusser has been embroiled in legal drama for years over the alleged transgender teammate, whom she called to be kicked off the team. Slusser has also made several appearances on Fox News during which she misgendered her teammate.

In a recent Fox Digital interview, Slusser spoke about sharing a bed with the other student at some point and how uncomfortable it was to later discover she had done so “with a man.”
“This is just absolutely absurd. It’s hard to process. I don’t even know if I can say I’ve fully processed it to this day,” she said, despite the fact that nothing bad actually occurred during their interaction.
She claimed she was “lied to” and would have “changed everything” about her actions in the apartment if she had known she was living with “a man.”
The internet has thoughts.
This bitch is mad because she became friends with a trans woman. Nothing bad happened, they were good friends, she just found out she was trans and is now going on this disgusting grifter culture war bullshit. Absolutely soulless and I hope your god punishes you https://t.co/YyLisgChV5

Literally nothing bad happened to her. The trans woman was her friend and is now being vilified for doing nothing. https://t.co/jO9ZWqpDcs

> didn't even know one of her three flatmates was trans
> blames the counselor who suggested living there as one of the options for a good reason
