A 12-foot statue showing President Donald Trump embracing his former friend, deceased convicted child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, appeared overnight on the National Mall in Washington D.C.
The statue, titled “King of the World,” imitates the iconic, romantic embrace between Jack and Rose, two characters played by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, in the 1997 historical drama Titanic. It also had 10 giant banners “celebrating” a “banner year” for Trump and Epstein, a likely reference to the fact Trump’s name is mentioned over 38,000 times in recently released federal investigative files on Epstein.

Trump reportedly rages over D.C. statues showing him as Jeffrey Epstein’s “best friend”
“The tragic love story between Jack and Rose was built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches,” the statue’s plaque reads. “This monument honors the bond between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein, a friendship seemingly built on luxurious travel, raucous parties, and secret nude sketches.”
The mention of nude sketches likely refers to a drawing suggesting a nude female torso that was included on a signed birthday letter to Epstein in which Trump referred to Epstein as “a terrific guy” — Trump later claimed that the letter was fake.
