Donald Trump says he has “better blood” than others in “creepy & racist” rant

Donald Trump recently told a crowd that he has “much better blood” because his uncle taught at MIT.

He also called himself “real smart” because he attended the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School, despite having said moments earlier that he knows “a lot of stupid people that went to a good college.”

On social media, some pointed out that Trump also lied about his uncle being MIT’s longest-serving professor, and others simply expressed horror that the president of the United States is exhibiting this behavior and that the country has accepted it as normal. Others mocked him for bragging about being smart, saying that smart people don’t actually talk about their intelligence.

Trump: I know a lot of stupid people that went to a good college. My uncle was the longest serving professor at MIT. That means I have much better blood. But I went to the hardest college of all to get into, the Wharton school of finance, that means I'm real smart. pic.twitter.com/kYIWksn5Up

There’s also the fact that Trump went to Wharton as an undergraduate, not for business school, and that he transferred there from Fordham University, reportedly with the help of a family connection.

Every morning I wake up, click on social media, and see clips showing that the President of the United States is vain, riddled with envy, self-obsessed, dumb and by the look of it suffering from incipient senility. And yet we take it as normal https://t.co/gKj6sqLu6t

His uncle was an MIT professor but he was NOT the longest server professor. This is also creepy and racist as he does not have “better blood,” because one of his relatives was smart. https://t.co/GfM0eI04Ox

@POTUS no you're not.

Hey convicted felon, let’s clear up the mythology.

You love telling this story about “great blood,” MIT, and how Wharton proves you’re a genius. The facts don’t back up most of it.

Your uncle, John G. Trump, really was a respected scientist at MIT. Nobody… https://t.co/5lseKLiKyw
