Puma, the shoe brand, is partnering with the Trevor Project this Pride Month to release a collection of Pride gear while supporting LGBTQ+ people in sports.
Puma’s Pride collection this year, part of their Equal Love Confederation initiative, includes two sneakers featuring subtle rainbow designs. The “Easy Rider Pride” sneaker is white with rainbow stitching on the top and a rainbow pattern on the sole.

The collection also includes some caps and t-shirts with rainbow Puma branding.
“Equal Love Confederation is here to celebrate Pride worldwide,” Puma said in a statement. “This collection brings together the spirit of football, the nostalgia of Y2K, and the concept of shared wardrobes into one vibrant, gender-neutral Pride collection.”
“Football-inspired pieces are transformed with terrace details, bold graphics, and all the colors of the LGBTQ+ flag. The result is a collection that urges the global community to work towards a more inclusive and accepting world, on and off the pitch. Stand out, be yourself, and play with pride.”
While many brands have turned away from diversity, Puma has embraced it. Its DEI page, which is still up, says, “Diversity is a key component in our working culture and expressed in our employer value ‘Be You’. It is not just a phrase – it’s about creating a place where every employee can be who they are.”
“Equality and non-discrimination are embedded in PUMA’s corporate culture. We want to continuously create a respectful and supportive workplace that enables everyone to simply be themselves.”
With the Trevor Project, Puma created the #REFORMTheLockerRoom initiative to demystify LGBTQ+ people’s experiences in sports.
