Ultra-right pundit Matt Walsh is attacking bisexual rapper Amber Rose because, while speaking last night at the Republican National Convention (RNC), she claimed supporters of former President Donald Trump “don’t care if you’re Black, white, gay, or straight. It’s all love.”
Walsh, who is deeply anti-LGBTQ+, “The RNC gives a primetime speaking slot to a pro-abortion feminist and self-proclaimed slut with a face tattoo whose only claim to fame is having sex with rappers. Truly an embarrassment. Not a single voter will be mobilized by this person.”

Rose’s appearance at the RNC and endorsement of Trump shocked many, especially since Trump has repeatedly advocated against women’s bodily autonomy as well as racial inclusivity and LGBTQ+ rights. Trump openly espouses the aims of the far-right Project 2025, a plan to overturn democracy, roll back basic civil rights, and imprison progressives in the United States. Trump is also well known for his racist remarks and for being supported by hate groups — which is notable considering that Rose is a biracial woman who has dated Black men.
Rose’s endorsement of Trump compelled some of her fans to call her a traitor to feminism.
Walsh attacked Rose in another X post, calling her a “porn star,” something that has been pointed out in the community notes as being untrue. While she is a content creator on OnlyFans subscription platform, that isn’t the same as being an adult video performer like, say, Stormy Daniels.
Walsh also decriesd that Trump, who survived an assassination attempt over the weekend, had to bear witness to Rose’s speech so soon after the attack.
In his latest post decrying the mere concept of diversity, Walsh wrote, “the first day of the convention was totally absurd and a very bad omen of things to come. Trump has never had more momentum or good will and the RNC decided to use that to push a message of diversity and inclusivity rather than using it to advance anything resembling a conservative agenda.”
