
Anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) is getting called out for her “psychotic episode” in an airport by a former GOP congressman who she joked was transgender.
Former Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) was on Fox News discussing next year’s midterm elections when he brought up Mace, saying that Republicans like her could cost the party votes.

“I mean, you look at the headlines recently, Sandra, and you’ve got an apoplectic congresswoman who’s having a psychotic episode in Charleston at an airport,” he said, referring to Mace’s alleged temper tantrum at the Charleston International Airport last week, where she cursed out TSA officials for not escorting her from her car to the gate.
“You’ve got this debate over white nationalism,” he continued, referring possibly to Republicans debating the place of neo-Nazis in the party. “I think Trump is saying, ‘Republicans, quit talking about all of that. Start talking about the best ten months any president has ever had in our history, and maybe we have a chance in the midterms.'”
