December 05 2025, 08:15

Gaming entertainment group, The Yogscast, just raised over £1 million for charities including an LGBTQ+ crisis helpline.

The Bristol-based entertainment brand, known for its gaming content and livestreams, surpassed yet another million-pound milestone as part of its annual Jingle Jam fundraiser.

The Christmas campaign, which takes place every December, gives gamers the chance to donate to a combination of non-profits in exchange for a massive collection of PC games.

Members of the group celebrated the milestone on Wednesday (3 December) during a 24-hour livestream promoting the fundraiser.

“Amazing! Thank you, thank you so much. We did it!” co-founder Lewis Brindley said in a clip posted on social media, with fellow co-founder, Simon Lane, chiming in saying: “Thank you!!”

That's £1,000,000 raised for charity by everyone fundraising for @jinglejam! We're absolutely blown away – thank you so much for tuning in, donating, fundraising yourself, and making this an incredible Jingle Jam so far! We couldn't do it without you! pic.twitter.com/WG73erYsk1

Players who donate a minimum of £35 to the fundraiser will receive 15 video games, as well as extra rewards from companies including Displate, Fanatical, and Noxcrew.

Games on offer this year include Tower Unite, Mouthwashing, Tactical breach Wizards, Core Keeper, Spiritfall, Gatekeeper, Rogue Waters, The Royal Writ, Warhammer: Chaos Gate Daemonhunters, and Train Sim World 6.

Charities selected to receive donations this year include The Trevor Project, a non-profit supporting LGBTQ+ young people facing mental health crisis.

Other charities include War Child, which supports young people impacted by wars across the globe, including in Palestine and Ukraine, Make-A-Wish, the autism non-profit Autistica, and foster care group Become.

The annual fundraiser has consistently surpassed over £2 million each year since 2016, even surpassing £3 million in 217, 2021, and 2022.

Its current record was achieved in 2017, with over 148,853 people donating a combined £3,894,251 in exchange for over 70 video games and extra rewards. The proceeds went towards seven non-profits, including the International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, and Intersex Association (ILGA).

Over £225,000 of the 2025 sum will fund the Trevor Project’s campaigns and programmes at the time of reporting, though donations continue to skyrocket every minute.

Announcing its partnership with the Yogscast, the Trevor Project says it was “thrilled” to be part of the yearly gaming fundraiser, which it said would “save lives“.

Gamers can grab all 15 games and rewards in the Jingle Jam 2025 collection by donating a minimum of £35 ($46 USD) here.
