A confused MAGA woman freaked out over a book lover’s gender-nonconforming appearance in a Barnes & Noble bathroom this week.
TikTok user @americanrevivalgirl flipped over the presence in the women’s restroom of a trans man, who wore a pink dress with kitten ears and sported facial hair.

While the incident raised legitimate questions about gender presentation, privacy, and safety issues for both parties, the outraged MAGA woman raced to the bottom with an online screed assigning nefarious motives to the kitten-eared bookstore patron.

“There’s little girls in there!” she told another patron who tried to block the woman from filming the confrontation.
“No,” she told her, to which @americanrevivalgirl replied, “Don’t tell me ‘no’! I have First Amendment rights!”

According to her TikTok profile, @americanrevivalgirl resides in Virginia and previously worked for late conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The woman claimed she was “scared” of the bearded trans masc reader in a dress.
“I came out of the stall and this dude’s in there putting on his lipstick. I got scared,” she said in a clip shot in her car. “My heart sunk.”
The post inspired a deluge of transphobic comments in her TikTok replies.
“Bottom line is, the person in the video is mentally ill,” read one.
Another user called for “canceling” Barnes & Noble.
Ironically, @americanrevivalgirl expressed sympathy for the trans man in a dress, acknowledging he likely went to the bathroom corresponding to his gender assigned at birth because it might be dangerous for him to use the men’s restroom.
That fact seemed to be lost on @americanrevivalgirl’s followers. The tirade racked up over three million views before @americanrevivalgirl took it down.
There were plenty of TikTok users in support of the trans man, though, calling out multiple hypocrisies intruding on the rant.
“You are so focused on trans people, yet any parent who sends their daughter or son to the restroom alone is a terrible parent. Anyone can be in the restroom, and a woman can also m*lest or k*dnap a girl or a boy,” one user wrote.
“Just to be clear — this person was born a female. So they’re using the proper bathroom according to all of you guys. In fact most of you support legislation that would force this person to use only the women’s bathroom,” said another.
“If you’re this terrified of a stranger being in a public bathroom with you then maybe don’t use public bathrooms then. She wasn’t going around looking under stalls or molesting people. Literally just existed and somehow this lady is having a full-blown meltdown,” another user wrote.
One other theme emerged in several stitched videos breaking down the TikToker’s self-serving confrontation, and her reported “fear” of the trans man.
Said one user summing it up: “Stop lying.”
