During an Easter lunch at the White House, Donald Trump made a bizarre series of comments about Vice President JD Vance’s weight.
During the speech, he mentioned something about Vance and then began to scan the crowd for him. When he found him, he excitedly exclaimed, “Oh, JD! He’s lost weight; he got a little thinner.”

But Trump didn’t stop there. “I’m looking for a heavyset gentleman, and now I find a perfect-looking specimen,” he said, as the crowd laughed.
Many on social media commented on the president’s surprise at Vance’s weight loss, wondering how long it had been since the two had seen each other in person. Others noted the inappropriate and odd nature of a president commenting on his vice president’s body.
“I cringe every time I hear people laughing along with him when he is behaving so inappropriately,” one person wrote.
“I’m more surprised that people are still surprised by anything that comes out of his mouth,” wrote another.
A third said, “People are dying and this is what he does!? Is it all a stand up routine??? He’s the movie villain who’s also the comic relief! JESUS CHRIST, GET HIM OUT OF HERE.”
