Trump & Nancy Mace weigh in on reports of Kristi Noem’s “crossdresser” husband

President Donald Trump and anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) both recently commented on tabloid reports that former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Kristi Noem’s husband is allegedly a crossdresser with a “bimbofication” fetish for women with gigantic, augmented breasts.

The reports included pictures, allegedly of Bryon Noem wearing fake breasts in tight women’s clothing, that he reportedly sent to online fetish models. Bryon Noem has said he will publicly speak about the allegations “at some point.” Until then, Trump and Mace offered their own public thoughts.

When asked about the reports, Trump told The Daily Mail (which first broke the story), “They confirmed it? Wow, well, I feel badly for the family if that’s the case, that’s too bad. I haven’t seen anything. I don’t know anything about it. That’s too bad, but I just know nothing about it.”

Trump often claims to know nothing about negative news reports targeting himself, his policies, or his political allies.

In an X post published yesterday, Mace wrote, “The media wants to talk about Bryon and Kristi Noem’s personal drama and indiscretions. I want to talk about who is getting deported, who got paid, and who’s stealing from taxpayers. Different priorities. Let’s focus on what matters.”

Despite her stated desire to only discuss deportations, payments, and corruption, Mace also published another X post yesterday which said, “To anyone celebrating ‘Trans Day of Visibility’ today, we sincerely hope you get the help you need.” Her post echoes right-wing claims that trans people (and by extension, their supporters) are mentally ill, a view which has been disavowed as false by psychological associations.

Numerous web commenters noted Mace’s obsession over other people’s “personal” business, namely where trans people use the bathroom.

Several commenters noted a November 2024 Newsweek article, accurately titled, “Nancy Mace Has Posted 326 Times in Last 72 Hours About Bathrooms,” which mentioned her bill seeking to ban transgender women from using women’s bathrooms at the U.S. Capitol and her transphobic attacks against then Representative-elect Sarah McBride (D-DE), the first out trans woman elected to Congress.

Others noted that Mace once investigated whether a trans woman was using a U.S. Capitol bathroom, only to discover that the woman wasn’t trans.

Kristi Noem, Mace, and Trump have all supported anti-LGBTQ+ and transphobic legislation, including bills to ban trans people from the restroom and laws to stop adults from performing in cross-dressing in public.

Wait … aren’t you the Capitol’s restroom inspector? Didn’t you accuse a woman of being a man, ask to see her undercarriage & call police? So, we should respect the Noem’s private life, but y’all can inject yourself in our lives & force laws upon us for our differences?
