Donald Trump flipped out at a journalist who brought up an accusation that an unnamed person was a “pedophile,” and she had one “clinical-grade” question in response.
CBS News’s Norah O’Donnell asked Trump in an interview on Sunday about Cole Allen, the man who allegedly opened fire on the White House Correspondents’ Dinner the night before. She noted that Allen’s manifesto denounced “a pedophile, rapist, and traitor” and asked Trump for his reaction.

“I was waiting for you to read that because I knew you would, because you’re horrible people, horrible people,” Trump responded. “Yeah, he did write that. I’m not a rapist. I didn’t rape anybody. I’m not a pedophile.”
O’Donnell replied with a simple question: “Oh, do you think he was referring to you?”

Trump then said that he was “totally exonerrated,” although it’s unclear which of the dozens of accusations of sexual abuse against him he was referring to.
“You should be ashamed of yourself, reading that,” he continued, using language he often uses to belittle women journalists. “You’re a disgrace.”

Trump has claimed in the past that he was “totally exonerated” of having any connection to child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, which is not true. He has also claimed that he was exonerated of the alleged rape of E. Jean Carroll, when in fact he was found liable for sexual abuse in that case (the jury failed to find him liable for “rape” because they believed he only forcibly violated Carroll with his fingers, not his genitalia, which are distinct charges in the state of New York).
Trump has admitted to sexually assaulting women in the past and has been accused by minors who participated in the Miss Teen USA competition of going into the dressing rooms to see them unclothed.
Trump claimed he had a falling out with Epstein after Epstein allegedly “stole” Virginia Giuffre, a minor who was working at Mar-a-Lago after she had been trafficked by known child sex abuser Ron Eppinger in Miami. She later died by suicide.
