Elon Musk tweeted from Trump’s election party at Mar-a-Lago tonight that Democrats “tried to kill” Donald Trump twice.

Replying to a post about pressure to shut down X after he bought the social media platform formerly known as Twitter in 2022, Musk wrote, “Sure it was a lot of pressure, but it pales by comparison with President @realDonaldTrump, who they tried to kill twice, bankrupt and imprison for eternity.”

Minutes later, Musk posted a pic from the ballroom at Mar-a-Lago conferring with the former president and relishing the prospect of keeping his government contracts under a second Trump administration.
