Marjorie Taylor Greene gloats that her extremist views are “mainstream” now

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is bragging that her views, which she says were once considered “radical extremist views,” are now part of the GOP’s “mainstream.”

Tucker Carlson called her “the most reviled person in the world” on his podcast when asking about her political trajectory, from someone who was excluded from committee assignments two years ago due to her violent social media postings to someone who now believes she has a chance at a Cabinet appointment in the coming administration.

She then claimed that she had gotten private apologies from Republican colleagues who once doubted her, saying that their constituents pushed them to be more like her.

“MTG’s ‘radical extremist views’ are now the mainstream Republican Party,” she wrote, sharing the video on X. “Mission accomplished.” She then included the sunglasses emoji.
