
Nonbinary and pansexual music artist Janelle Monáe tore into Nelly for having “sold out” by performing at a Donald Trump inauguration event.
Monáe was performing a rendition of Nelly’s Hot in Herre at a Grammy’s after party when she stopped to tell the crowd she “used to like Nelly but then he went to perform for Donald Trump.”

“F**k you Nelly!” she yelled into the mic. Then she rapped, “I used to like Nelly, but then he went to perform for f**king Donald Trump… I’m with my family. Ain’t nobody gonna hate on us… I care about women. I care about hispanics… ”

She listed other groups she cared about, but the noise of the crowd cheering her on drowned out her words in the video posted by TMZ.
She rapped, “Nelly, you sold out. I used to think he was cool, but now you look like a motherf***king fool.”
