An activist recently asked outspoken Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) what she would say directly to Elon Musk if she had the chance. Crockett delivered a blunt two-word response that was captured on video.
Crockett was asked the question Tuesday on the Capitol steps by Attorney Joe Gallina, founder of the progressive media outlet Call to Activism. Musk, a transphobic Nazi sympathizer who is also the world’s richest man, has angered many progressives, Democrats and Republicans (according to recent polling) for freezing the budgets and slashing the workforces of numerous federal agencies.

Is the backlash to Elon Musk’s and Donald Trump’s wrecking ball finally starting?
Voters are beginning to rebel against the deep cuts and chaos that the co-presidents have unleashed.
Musk is an unelected official who, according to the White House, is not the head of any official government agency, despite overseeing the actions of the so-called Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). DOGE is an unofficial department that used to be known as the U.S. Digital Service before Trump renamed it.

Democrats have widely accused DOGE’s actions of being illegal and unconstitutional because he has independently hollowed out the agencies without any required approval from Congress. The Constitution notes that each agency’s budget is determined by congressional law and can only be changed by it as well. Workers dismissed by Musk have issued lawsuits to challenge their dismissals in court.
So when Gallina asked Crockett what should would say to Musk, she responded with just two words: “F**k off.”
NEW: I just asked Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett if she had a message to Elon Musk.

This isn’t the first time that Crockett has been an outspoken progressive.
She made headlines last May by referring to anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) with the now-immortalized descriptor “bleach-blonde, bad-built, butch body.” Greene regularly posts videos of herself exercising to social media.
In June 2023, when when asked how she felt about working with Greene and anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), Crockett responded, “[They] literally lack all substance,” and called Boebert “disrespectful” and said she did not have “anything of value to offer” to a recent House hearing.
Last January, anti-LGBTQ+ Rep. Nancy Mace (R-NC) threatened to fight Crockett outside of the Capitol, but quickly chickened out.
Mace made her threat when being told to stop spewing transphobia during a House hearing. In response, Crockett told Mace, “Trans people ain’t going nowhere, just like when the racists wanted to make sure that Black people somehow were going to be dismissed in this country. We ain’t left either.”
