Elon Musk’s estranged trans daughter Vivian Wilson skewered the Christian Post for an op-ed that misgendered her, deadnamed her, and called her transition “tragic.”

In a comment on Threads, Wilson called out the hypocrisy of those who use religion to justify their bigotry.

The article, titled “The tragic story of Elon Musk and his trans-identified son,” makes several bizarre claims, including that boys turn gay when their fathers neglect them.

The author, Joseph Sciambra, wrote that because Musk was an absent father, Wilson ended up gay, which in turn caused her gender dysphoria.

“I’ve seen it hundreds of times,” Sciambra wrote, “some people would rather believe that their son was ‘born gay,’ or even born in the wrong body, rather than admit to themselves that they were neglectful or abusive parents.”

He then went on a tangent to disprove a claim from Musk that Wilson was “born gay” and explained that straight boys can be gentle and like musical theater.

Sciambra is an “ex-gay” man who has devoted his life to helping Christian men “overcome all same-sex attractions and any persistent attachments to the homosexual or the ‘gay orientation,'” according to his website.

He said in the Post article that he had a friend from his “days as a gay man in 1990s San Francisco” who used to dress up as Madonna and dance around his house to get his father’s attention, implying that this desperation for fatherly affection is what made him both “rather flamboyant” and gay.

“With Elon Musk and the story of his transgender son,” he concluded, “I see a confused and hurt father, who refuses to accept any responsibility, and an angry and injured son.”

Wilson has been estranged from Musk since 2022, when the billionaire failed to accept her transition. She has gained a substantial following on Threads in recent months, often gaining media attention for criticizing the actions of Musk, especially when he decides to insult Wilson.

She previously pointed out that Musk’s viral claims about her in an interview with right-wing media icon Jordan Peterson are entirely inaccurate.

“This is entirely fake. Like, literally none of this ever happened,” she said in response to claims that she was gay, loved musicals, and said “fabulous.”

“Ever. I don’t even know where he got this from. My best guess is that he went to the Milo Yiannopoulis school of gay stereotypes, just picked some at random and said ‘eh- good enough’ in a last-ditch attempt to garner sympathy points when he is so obviously in the wrong even in his own f**king story.”
