Fox News host Jesse Watters is apparently feeling left out. The anti-LGBTQ+ pundit publicly begged President Donald Trump to notice him, speaking on air directly to the president about how he wants a job – or at least to be invited to a special event.
“Fox News alert, Laura Ingraham and Maria Bartiromo have just been named by Donald Trump to be on the board of the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C,” Watters said. “And that is a huge honor, and I’m very happy for them. But I’m also a little jealous because I feel like everybody is getting things — ambassadorships, board seats, Cabinet positions.”

Fox News apparently has a hard time accurately reporting on female legislators. One of them wasn’t amused.
“I only asked for a statue. It doesn’t have to be life-sized,” he said in a recent broadcast. “And if you don’t want to do the statue, maybe just an invitation for Emma and I to a state dinner, not like any country, like a really good country. Just putting it out there, as long as people are getting things.”

Trump has indeed been rewarding Fox News hosts for their loyalty by giving them roles in his administration – whether or not they have the right experience. The news site Joe.My.God. news calculated that he has given roles to 21 current or former Fox personalities, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy.
Watters has long praised Trump and regularly makes bigoted comments about the LGBTQ+ community, including claiming young people are identifying as seasons and saying trans youth are just gay kids who were forced into gender-affirming surgery.
He also celebrated that country star Carrie Underwood performed at Trump’s inauguration because she’s straight and blonde. “When a straight, blonde female is singing at the inauguration, I think we’re back,” Watters said at the time. “I think we’re definitely back.”
