New details for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse have finally emerged, and it looks out of this universe.
The second part of Miles Morales’ journey to save his dad, following the 2023 hit sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, finally has a release date after details were revealed during CinemaCon on Monday (31 March).
Sony announced that the final part of the animated trilogy is due in cinemas on 4 June 2027.
Originally set for release this time last year, the film was delayed by the Hollywood strikes. But now, the official Beyond the Spider-Verse X/Twitter account has shared stills from the upcoming adventure, including a battle between Miles and his evil alternate-universe counterpart, and a psychedelic still of New York.

The screenplay is reportedly being written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Dave Callaham, who penned the previous film, and being directed Bob Persichetti and Justin K Thompson, who worked on both earlier movies.
“The creativity and care poured into every minute of this project has been truly inspiring,” the directors said. “We have crafted what we feel is a very satisfying ending, and we can’t wait for fans to experience it. We’re bringing everything we’ve got.”
Spider-Man: Beyond the #SpiderVerse is coming exclusively to theatres June 4, 2027.
