
In an X post last week, LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman hit Elon Musk where it hurts: his ego.
It all began with allegations from right-wing accounts that Hoffman funds a group called Indivisible, which has been leading protests outside Tesla showrooms around the country, as well as other anti-Trump and anti-Musk rallies.

Musk responded on X to two accounts accusing Hoffman of doing so, writing, “Reid will have many layers between himself and the organizations attacking me, but the probability is 100% that Reid is funding them. 100%.”

Hoffman replied by telling Elon Musk that no one likes him.
“The probability many, many people don’t like you? 100%. Probability that Tesla polls need to be rigged by bots to cover up the fact that people don’t like you? 100%. Probability you’d rather make sh*t up about me than fix your problems? 100%.”

Another user then accused Hoffman of doing the “liar tell” of not refusing to “deny Elon’s specific allegation.”
Hoffman responded simply: “I am denying elon’s specific allegation.”

Protests at Tesla dealerships and factories have escalated as Musk oversees the unconstitutional destruction of federal agencies and social services under his unofficial Department of Government Efficiency. Tesla’s stock price has reduced 41% since Trump took office, losing billions in value. Trump and his Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick have recently violated ethics rules by encouraging people to purchase Tesla cars and stock, respectively.
