Some of actor Mickey Rourke’s comments to JoJo Siwa and others were “unbroadcastable”, a Celebrity Big Brother (CBB) housemate, who was evicted after the first round of voting, has said.
Rourke was asked to leave the CBB house after incidents of “seriously unacceptable” behaviour, following on from him being given a formal warning for making “homophobic” comments, about, and to, LGBTQ+ pop star and dancer JoJo Siwa, which have been reported.
But, following his exit, British politician Michael Fabricant – the first celebrity to be voted out of the house this year – revealed that a lot of Rourke’s outbursts, aimed not only at Siwa, but also The Only Way Is Essex’s Ella Rae Wise and Love Island star Chris Hughes, could not be aired.

The bisexual former Tory MP for Lichfield, in Staffordshire, took to X/Twitter to respond to a fan of the show who asked why people “can’t even use” the slang word for cigarette. The comment was made in relation to Rourke’s attempt to brush off homophobic jibes by claiming he was talking about smoking.
“Yeah, but that wasn’t said in isolation,” Fabricant wrote. “There was a lot more, some of which could not be broadcast.”

Rourke, who has also been accused of previous on-set misconduct by former Disney star Bella Thorne, has since apologised to Siwa. He admitted having “stepped over the line”.
The Wrestler star said: “I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing because I lost my temper. I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life, and I wish I would have had better self-control. I’m very sorry.”
Celebrity Big Brother voting: Who is up for eviction on 15 April and how can you vote?
Following the first public vote on Friday (11 April), another live eviction will take place on Tuesday (15 April), with three stars at risk of being booted out of the house.
EastEnders star Patsy Palmer, TV journalist Trisha Goddard and, for a second time, Coronation Street’s Jack P Shepherd all face eviction at 9pm, after receiving the most votes from their fellow housemates.
Lines opened at the end of yesterday’s episode, and voting takes place exclusively through ITV’s Big Brother app, which can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play.
