Trans singer Sasha Allen roasts “f**king stupid” Republicans over transphobic passport policy
April 26 2025, 08:15

Transgender male singer Sasha Allen recently revealed that his new U.S. passport will have a “female” gender marker thanks to the president’s executive order denying all federal recognition of trans people’s gender identity. Allen said the real reason Republicans want his passport to say “female” is because they’re “all too f**king stupid to be able to spot a trans person” on their own (even though they claim to be able to tell a trans person just by looking).

“My new passport is gonna have to say female on it instead of male, because Donald Trump,” he said in the video.. “Conservatives are like, ‘Yeah, f**k yeah!’ And it makes sense [that] maybe you guys are celebrating the fact that it’s like, written out because you’re all too f**king stupid to be able to spot a trans person on your own, even though you insist on the fact that you can — you guys can’t spot s**t. You guys have no f**king idea.”

The judge agreed the plaintiffs could prove the policy is “based on irrational prejudice toward transgender Americans.”

“I’m the motherf**ker literally next to you in the men’s bathroom, siting down to pee, and you guys are the ones like reaching under the stall being like, ‘Hey, bro, can I get some toilet paper?’ I’m the motherf**ker being nice to your wife in the grocery store, and she’s like, ‘What a sweet young man.’ I’m the motherf**ker that you can sit down next to at a bar and watch football with me for two hours and then buy me a beer, and have no f**king idea,” he continued.

“And I’m gonna say it so nicely, it’s ’cause you’re dumb, but I do empathize with the fact that you guys are so f**king dumb [that] maybe you just need it written out,” Allen added. “I mean, like you guys can’t clock s**t, so I’m gonna let you celebrate this, because you can’t afford to make an omelet, your life is going nowhere, and your wife is probably gonna leave you, and I know that she doesn’t touch you anymore.”

“So if me having a female passport in my pocket while I’m in the men’s bathroom, sh**ting next to you makes you feel better, we can do that, and I’m gonna be in there right next to you,” he concluded. “You’re gonna have no f**king idea, because you’re dumb.”

At the end of his video, he then remarked, “But let’s stop grunting at the urinals, okay? They’re urinals. They’re urinals, and so we don’t have to grunt at them.”

Allen is just the most recent trans celebrity to criticize the president’s transphobic passport policy. Trans actress Hunter Schafer also noted the “male” gender marker on her passport.

In March, 82 Democratic members of the House of Representatives wrote a letter opposing this policy. The Department of State stopped issuing accurate passports for trans people soon after the president issued his transphobic executive order. The letter warned that Trump’s policy “will decrease passport accuracy; will subject our transgender, nonbinary, and intersex constituents to potential harassment and violence; [and] raise serious constitutional concerns.”

Earlier this month, U.S. District Judge Julia E. Kobick issued a partial preliminary injunction against the policy. Kobick’s decision mandated that six of seven trans and nonbinary plaintiffs in a lawsuit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) receive passports that accurately reflect their gender identities. The ACLU also plans to file a motion requesting that Kobick’s decision apply to all trans and nonbinary people across the country.

Allen previously starred as a semifinalist in the reality TV singing competition The Voice. In 2022, Allen talked to lesbian comedienne Ellen DeGeneres about being the first out trans person on the long-running reality show to make it past the battle rounds.

“I made the decision to share my story in this way because I was like, ‘If I could help one kid who’s in the position that I was in, or help somebody to understand who knows nothing about trans people or has never met a trans person, it would all be worth it,’” he told DeGeneres.
