Pedro Pascal continues unwavering trans allyship with trans rights tee at movie premiere
April 28 2025, 08:15

Actor Pedro Pascal continues to be a staunch trans ally, taking every public opportunity he can to speak out for trans rights.

At the London premiere of Marvel’s Thunderbolts*, in which Pascal does not appear, he wore a T-shirt declaring “Protect The Dolls,” a term of endearment for trans women. Fashion designer Conner Ives created the T-shirt, which has become a popular symbol of solidarity, with proceeds benefiting Trans Lifeline.

Earlier this month, Pascal wore the same shirt to his 50th birthday party, a celebration that turned into an online shout-out championing the transgender community.

Pascal shared his outfit for the festivities on Instagram, which included both the Dolls T-shirt and a baseball cap with “House of Dijon” over the brim. The viral pic showed trans DJ and icon Honey Dijon nuzzling with The Last of Us actor. The birthday boy also posted a video of himself dancing to Crystal Waters’ 90s house and gay dance anthem “Gypsy Woman (La Da Dee).”

Pascal has been outspoken in support of his sister, Lux Pascal, who is a trans actress and activist. He also recently posted to Instagram, “A world without trans people has never existed and never will.”

Pascal added in the comments, “I can’t think of anything more vile and small and pathetic than terrorizing the smallest, most vulnerable community of people who want nothing from you, except the right to exist.”
