Now You See Me 3 reveals Saltburn and Barbie stars in new roles
April 30 2025, 08:15

There are more magic tricks on the cards, as the Horsemen are returning for Now You See Me 3, officially titled Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

On Tuesday (29 April), Lionsgate launched the first trailer for Now You See Me 3, which sees original cast Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher and Woody Harrelson returning to their magic trick tomfoolery, almost a decade after Now You See Me 2.

Also joining the cast for the third instalment of the franchise are newcomers Arianna Greenblatt of Barbie fame and Rosamund Pike, who starred in psychosexual, queer-coded film Saltburn

Saltburn star Rosamund Pike is starring in the cast of Now You See Me: Now You Don’t.

Justice Smith and Dominic Sessa are also joining the cast in new roles. According to IMDb, Morgan Freeman, Daniel Radcliffe, and Mark Ruffalo are reviving their original characters.

If you can think back to 2013, when the first film launched, you’ll recall how the FBI tracked the original group of magicians who managed to execute bank heists, before gifting the audience with the stolen cash.

The logline for the upcoming film, Now You See Me: Now You Don’t, reads: “The Four Horsemen return along with a new generation of illusionists performing mind-melding twists, turns, surprises and magic unlike anything ever captured on film.”

Ruben Fleischer, known for his work on Venom (2018) and Uncharted (2022), is directing the film. In October, Eisenberg told GamesRader+ what it was like working with the director on-set.

“We’ve been in Budapest for the last three months, and I almost made it till the end without breaking anything,” he said in reference to his broken finger, which he injured during filming.

“And the movie is really astounding. Every day we walk onto set and pinch ourselves because the set pieces, the magic, the ensemble, it’s really, truly miraculous.”

Now You See Me’s official Instagram revealed in November 2024 that filming for the upcoming movie had concluded.

Now You See Me: Now You Don’t is set to be released in cinemas on 14 November 2025.
