A Canadian woman has brought joy to social media after issuing a hilariously polite insult to Donald Trump during an appearance on CNN.

The woman was discussing how Trump’s continued trade war and threats to annex Canada as the 51st state motivated her vote in Canada’s recent elections.

“I think who I voted for would be the best to take care of Trump,” she said, “because Trump is, I’m sorry to say, an a**hole, and he shouldn’t even be President of the United States, but because he is, we need a strong person so that we can stand strong.”
