“I could write a book about my love for you but I’ll just say this: I promise to love you to my fullest capacity everyday for as long as we both live,” Groff wrote.
The Louisville, Kentucky-based Love burst onto the 17th season of Drag Race earlier this year, earning a spot among the season’s finalists and ultimately tying for third place with Sam Star.
On the show, Love was open about her past struggles with addiction and homelessness, as well as her journey toward coming out as a transgender woman. Just days after Drag Race’s April 18 season finale, the 34-year-old announced in an X post that she was taking a break from performing “to nurture my mental, physical, and emotional well-being.”
