PornHub has once again demonstrated why data journalism was invented by providing vital Pride Month insights with its top porn categories for each UK region.
Who knew that Greater London had such a thing for uncircumcised penises?
Well, apparently, PornHub did. The world’s largest porn site has again collated its viewer data to draw up a list of intriguing facts and figures to celebrate Pride Month.
The annual data collation opens up various categories to viewers, including the most-viewed gay male pornstars of 2025 (Malik Delgaty) and the world’s most-viewed gay porn categories (where twinks have finally been knocked off the top in the US).
And in the United Kingdom, PornHub has provided the ‘Top Relative Gay Categories by UK Region’ – meaning which part of His Majesty’s kingdom is getting one’s rocks off to what at a higher percentage, when compared to its neighbours.
Greater London, as mentioned, views the ‘Uncut’ category 61% more than others, while the East Midlands settle down with a bit of ‘POV’ (point of view) porn (+116%) of an evening.
The East of England’s top category is ‘Reality’ – though we’re not sure what that means – at a rate of 158% more than others.
The North East likes their Daddies (who doesn’t), with ‘Mature’ at +73%, and the North West goes for a good old fashioned ‘Blowjob’ at +114%.
The South East has its alone time watching someone else’s alone time, with ‘Solo’ at +47% and the South West’s ‘Amateur’ category sits at +60%, according to PornHub.
Northern Ireland is all about efficiency, with ‘Cumshot’ at +60%, and Wales views ‘Japanese’ at +144%. Scotland, on the other hand, is more artistic than its neighbours, with ‘Cartoon’ sitting at +90%. And we don’t think they’re talking about Cartoon Network.
The West Midlands, meanwhile, goes for ‘Bareback‘ – and no, not the horse riding term – at a rate of +59% and finally, Yorkshire and Humber just wants to relax; ‘Massage’ is at +128%.
Like we said – that’s why Data Journalism was invented.
PornHub also tells us that the South East has a +77% difference to the rest of the UK in the proportion of gay porn viewers when compared to the national average, and that Foxy Alex is the UK’s number 1 viewed performer.
