Since leaving office, Buttigieg has remained prominent in the media, explaining his views on the current administration and how the Democratic Party should be responding to it.

The poll, conducted on June 24 and 25, was the first Emerson poll of the year to find a negative approval rating for the president. Forty-five percent of all voters in the poll said that they approve of the job he is doing as president, while 46% said they disapprove.
