Out trans Rep. Sarah McBride (D-DE) and others on the left had a lot of praise for New York City mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani after his Wednesday Fox News appearance, where he remained “calm and focused,” Raw Story reports, while delivering a progressive message.
Sharing a clip of Mamdani talking about the corruption of his opponents in the mayoral race as well as in the presidential administration, McBride — who has spoken at length in the past about how she believes Democrats should approach politics — wrote on social media: “This is how it’s done!”

Others on social media praised Mamdani. Former Emily’s List communications vice president Christina Reynolds called Mamdani “so smart.”
