Model Haley Bieber has been praised for her response when asked about online trolls who have repeatedly claimed she is secretly a trans woman.
“When people are trying to be mean, they’re like, ‘She looks trans,’ and I’m like, ‘Why do you think that’s a diss?'” the skincare brand owner and wife of pop star Justin Bieber said while appearing on the In Your Dreams podcast with Owen Theile.

“As if being trans is a diss,” she continued. “Some of the most beautiful women in the world and men in the world are trans, so I just don’t take that offensively at all.”
“This is feminism,” one person wrote on TikTok in response.
“The energy we NEED,” wrote another. “Protect the dolls.”
Some called the comment “iconic,” and called Bieber a “legend” and a “secure baddie.”
“Honestly, I’m just here wondering if being compared to a queen is the new ‘insult,'” another user replied.
Bieber is the daughter of actor and conservative Christian activist Stephen Baldwin. She and her husband are devout Christians and once drew criticism for their membership in the anti-LGBTQ+ Hillsong Church, a megachurch known for attracting celebrities.
The couple ultimately left the church after its involvement in a series of scandals, joining a different celebrity megachurch called Churchome, which is purportedly more LGBTQ+-inclusive.
In 2023, Bieber signed on to a letter from GLAAD asking social media companies to ban anti-LGBTQ+ content and categorize it as hate speech.
