Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey will attend the 41st annual International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference in Washington, DC, this December, joining more than 700 LGBTQ+ elected officials, public servants and human rights leaders.
Gov. Healey was one of the first LGBTQ+ women elected to be Governor and also made history as the first out LGBTQ+ elected statewide official in Massachusetts, and the first lesbian to be elected Attorney General nationwide.
Joining Gov. Healey as speakers are Attorneys General Anne Lopez of Hawaii and Kris Mayes of Arizona, Guam Lt. Gov. Josh Tenorio, Maine Speaker of the House Ryan Fecteau, Mayors Gina Ortiz Jones of San Antonio and Todd Gloria of San Diego.
The annual conference of LGBTQ+ political leaders provides prime opportunities to connect and learn, with 3 days of plenary sessions and workshops on a variety of topics.
The 41st International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference will be held December 4–6 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Washington, DC. Registration is open.
