Montana state Rep. Zooey Zepher (D) has likely won reelection. She currently has 83% of the vote in her Missoula district.
Zephyr, the first out trans person in the Montana Legislature, made national headlines when she told her Republican colleagues they would have “blood on your hands” for supporting a bill banning gender-affirming care for trans minors. Republicans voted to ban her from the house floor for the remainder of the session, saying that banning her was the only way “to protect the dignity and integrity” of the chamber.
Zephyr is engaged to trans journalist Erin Reed.
Incredible news. Zooey Zephyr, my fiancée, was re-elected to the Montana House of Representatives, getting 83% of the vote.

Many of you will remember her for standing up for trans people in Montana, and then getting censured and kicked off the House floor.
I'm so proud of her. https://t.co/XymjLyDMjL pic.twitter.com/Xya0p1GOdp
