The official White House website has unveiled a page called “mysafespace: a place for dems”, whose sole purpose is to make fun of Democrats and blame them for the ongoing shutdown.
The page is meant to mimic a MySpace blog, with an “About me” section describing Congressional Democrats as folks who “love DEI, transgender for everyone, and handing out taxpayer benefits to illegal immigrants.”

They identify Democratic “Heroes” as “Anyone who identifies as a radical leftist. Transnational gangs, illegal immigrants,” and use a screenshot from a fake and racist AI video that portrays House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) with a Mexican sombrero and a fake moustache.
Public defender Eliza Orlins, a former candidate for Manhattan district attorney, called the page “absolutely batsh*t insane.”
“I can’t believe this is real,” Orlins wrote on Instagram, emphasizing, “This is a dot gov domain paid for with your tax dollars.”
“And all this went live while the government is shutdown and federal workers and members of the military aren’t being paid,” she said in a reel.
“Think about the precedent it sets when the president is using WhiteHouse.gov to attack political opponents.”
“This is sickening,” she said.
