Woman calls gay neighbors “disgusting fa**ots” in viral video. It quickly backfires.
April 11 2025, 08:15

A homophobic woman has been fired from her job after a viral video captured her yelling homophobic slurs at her gay neighbors in the predominantly gay male Wilton Manors neighborhood of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In a public Facebook post shared by Joe My God, a man named Tyson Baker claimed that a woman named Allison Murphy and her husband had spent months parking their white Mercedes in the men’s yard and allowing their dog to use the restroom on their lawn.

Baker said that he tried to leave Murphy and her family written notes asking them to stop, saying, “We’ve tried to avoid drama, but they just keep on keeping on, flipping us off and calling us names every day.” But Murphy’s father allegedly ripped up the note, shouted homophobic slurs, and flipped off Baker once again, he told WPLG, so he finally called the police.

In the video, Murphy calls Baker and his husband “disgusting f**king f**gots” and says that they probably have AIDS. Baker then responds that she probably has syphilis, a sexually transmitted infection that can cause mental illness if left untreated. There is no clear evidence that either person has either illness.

“Put me online, you fu**ing f**got,” she continued. “And guess what? I know where your car is.”

Baker asked, “Is that a threat?”

She continued to swear and walked away with police behind her.

Police officers arrived, but didn’t arrest anyone, and suggested a restraining order. However, Baker merely posted video of Murphy’s reaction online. Online sleuths quickly identified Murphy and contacted her employer, Valley Forge Fabrics, with the video.

Soon after, the company announced that it had fired Murphy, adding, “The views expressed by this individual do not reflect the values of our company, our culture, or the principles we uphold…. [We are] a company that stands for diversity, inclusion, and respect. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive environment for all — regardless of race, gender, sexual identity, or background.”

The company added, “Hate has no place here.”

Baker has said that he doesn’t want the family arrested, he just wants the conflict between them resolved.
